The list as you know is in no particular order. In fact, we found it really hard to rank the villages and narrow them down to a list of six villages. But in case if you ask me to pick one among the six it would have to be Gruyeres. You will either have to be genius with an IQ of 190 or a hardcore foodie to find out why. Aquila:

The region of Aquila is well-known for the wine and farming. All most all house owners have their own vineyards that form a part of their beautiful stone cottages. The evenly populated stone houses make a beautiful mark on the face of Paris. The place looks peaceful even amidst the wild atmosphere it is located in.

Murten is one separate place by itself. No small town makes you feel as wholesome as this one. The neatly placed buildings and the tower clock the welcomes you right at the entrance are the things that make this place an undeniable beauty on the face of the earth. St-Ursanne:

St-Ursanne has a medieval touch to it. This is mainly because the place is filled with a lot of historic buildings and places that are a part of history. Various festivals are celebrated throughout the year that emphasis on the rich history of this place. If possible visit this place during a festival season, to witness the ultimate fun of your life.

Spiez:

No one ever said if this place once had kings and queens residing in them. The place is surrounded by a lot of castles. It is one of the most peaceful places in the whole of Paris. You will experience peace and seclusion whenever you visit this village. There is so much of calmness and tranquillity in this place.
